The Song Meter Mini Bat 2 AA Ultrasonic Recorder is a compact, weatherproof device designed for recording bats and other wildlife that vocalise in the ultrasonic range. With a built-in low-noise ultrasonic microphone and long battery life, it is suitable for extended field deployments.
An optional acoustic microphone for recording birds, amphibians and other acoustic wildlife can be purchased separately here. Please note, the acoustic microphone must be purchased seperately and does not come included within this unit.

The Song Meter Mini Bat 2 can be programmed to record ultrasonic activity and acoustic activity at different times during the same deployment, but not simultaneously. The optional acoustic microphone is required for non-ultrasonic recordings.
