Pettersson Elektronik was founded in 1983 by Lars Pettersson, as a spin-off from a research project at the Institute of Technology of Uppsala University, Sweden. The objective of the project was to develop a new type of bat detector, which eventually resulted in Pettersson Elektronik’s first bat detector. We now offer a broad range of bat detectors and related equipment for ultrasound applications, including the BatSound software.
