Pettersson M500 USB Ultrasound Microphone
Pettersson's M500 USB Ultrasound Microphone is a small handheld microphone which works in conjugation with a PC, Laptop, Or a Tablet. The M500 uses the same well known and respected microphone used in the D500X. The M500 is housed in a small, durable case, which protects it from the bumps and scratches of surveying. The M500 can be used as a directional and omnidirectional mic (with or without the directional horn), giving greater flexibility. The M500 incorperates low-noise technology, high sampling frequency and efficient anti-aliasing filter to provide optimum quality recordings.
The M500 comes with an easy-to-use Windows recording program that saves the recordings in a 16 bit WAV files.
Real-time display of the waveform and the spectrometer as well as real-time monitoring of the bat calls.
The program offers various triggering modes:
Manual and automatic
With or without pretrigger
level triggered or frequency triggered operation.
