Hibernation Roosts

Our British bats don't construct roosts - they use what's available that suits their needs such as these artificial hibernacula: bat boxes with hibernation chambers designed for safe, secure overwintering of various bat species. The insulation protects the bats in very cold or changeable temperatures while still allowing sufficient airflow and minimal condensation.
