These SLAM traps are used in biodiversity surveys as they catch many airborne insects. This Slam trap is simple, quick and easy to set up as it does not usually require guy ropes. (large might need guy ropes) This trap has quick clips on the side for fast installation. The four cross baffles collect insects on all four sides and also makes the sun and the wind direction less of a concern when setting up the trap.
A SLAM Trap Bottom Collector can be attached to the standard SLAM trap only, which collects the insects that hit the barriers and drop down.
