Chain link mesh is traditionally used as fencing but is also ideal for badger exclusion projects for ground covering in conjunction with our badger gates around a closed sett entrance, to prevent badgers redigging the entrance.

It is a more manageable alternative to our square mesh badger fencing which is in larger rolls, but it is down to personal preference and the wire specification that the job may require. This mesh should be pegged down using our steel fixing pins. It is supplied in Semi-tight wound rolls for the best flexibility in both transportation and erection and has crepe paper between the layers on the roll to prevent snagging on unrolling.

Please note, if using this for fencing, 1 x 75m roll of line wire (code 16102) is required with each roll, to allow 3 horizontal line wires, onto which the wire can be hung/clipped with hogring clips. Wooden posts and angle iron posts and straining posts/winders for tensioning the line wires also available – please ask.

Supplied in 25m long rolls x 1200mm and 1800mm high/wide rolls (other heights available to order if required). Wire diameter is 2.5mm and mesh size is 50mm x 50mm approx.
