The Double Crevice Bat Box is designed for bat species that naturally roost in narrow crevices. It features two internal roosting chambers, each approximately 20 mm wide, allowing bats to select between slightly different temperature conditions within the box.
The box incorporates a black exterior to increase heat absorption, along with internal ceramic heat sinks to help stabilise internal temperatures.

Species Suitability
Suitable for crevice-dwelling bats, particularly common pipistrelle and soprano pipistrelle.
Siting & Installation
Can be mounted on buildings or trees. Position as high as possible in a sheltered, sunny location with a clear flight path. Installing multiple boxes with different orientations can provide a range of conditions.
Maintenance
The roof can be removed for cleaning or inspection where permitted. Any inspection should only be carried out by a licensed bat worker.
