These small eco nest boxes are made from a UV stabilised 100% recycled plastic outer with an FSC wooden internal nesting chamber. These materials provide a robust, long-lasting, and comfortable home for most common garden birds.

Why are nest boxes important?
Natural nest sites are being lost having devastating consequences for bird species. Birds are an essential component of functioning ecosystems and have a direct impact on human populations and millions of other species. It is therefore important to provide our feathered friends with a home.

25 mm entrance is suitable for the smaller species such as the Marsh, Coal, and Blue Tits
28 mm entrance will also attract the above mentioned, along with Great Tits, Crested Tits, and Tree Sparrows
32 mm entrance will attract the largest range of birds including the Blue, Coal, Marsh, and Great Tits, as well as House Sparrows, Nuthatches, and Pied Flycatchers.
SITING: 3 concealed keyholes and further fixing hole at the base for added stability if needed.
Fix two or four metres up on a tree or a wall. Unless there are trees or buildings which shade the box during the day, face the box between north and east, thus avoiding strong sunlight and the wettest winds. Make sure that the birds have a clear flight path to the nest without any clutter directly in front of the entrance. Tilt the box forward slightly so that any driving rain will hit the roof and bounce clear.
