The Elekon FG Ultrasonic Microphone is a replacement omni-directional microphone designed for use with compatible BATLOGGER devices. Featuring an electret condenser microphone with integrated preamplifier, the FG microphone delivers high sensitivity across the ultrasonic frequency range, making it suitable for accurate bat call recording during active and passive surveys.
The microphone features enhanced weather resistance and a flatter frequency response compared with earlier standard microphones, helping to improve recording consistency in field conditions. Its integrated temperature sensor also allows environmental data to be recorded alongside bat call recordings.
The simple 3.5mm gold-plated jack connection allows quick and easy replacement in the field and can be connected directly to the detector or used with compatible Elekon extension cables.
