This newt fencing is manufactured using a unique triple layered process and is ideal for temporary newt fencing. Due to the manufacturing process, a higher tear strength can be achieved with thinner material which has the net result of a product that is lighter to carry and lighter on the environment.
Using this newt fencing instead of traditional 250micron product means a 40% reduction in polythene.
It is UV stabilised and comes on a 100m x 1000mm roll, weighing just 23kg.

Newt fencing should be carried out when the newts are active above ground. In some circumstances it is permissable to do the work in the winter, but you will be required to justify this to Natural England.
