These U-shaped pins are 300mm long and the top (U-Shape) is 50mm wide and have an open design where the pin ends are wider than the U-shaped top (Approx 100mm). The pins can be squeezed together when hammering into the ground. The steel will then try to "spring" back out in the ground helping to hold the pin in the ground. Ideal for fixing into softer soils, wet ground, newly turfed areas or slopes.
Recommended for heavy duty wire netting such as badger exclusion netting, steel mesh, plastic mesh, geotextiles, grass reinforcement, erosion control and stabilisation applications. Manufactured from 6mm diameter ribbed rebar steel.
