The Pixfra Arc Thermal Imaging Monocular range is designed for ecological survey work, offering high-sensitivity thermal imaging in a compact, lightweight format. Both the Arc A613 and A625 models use a 640×512, 12µm, <30mK NETD sensor to detect subtle heat signatures and display clear thermal images on a 1440×1080 OLED screen.
These devices are suitable for a range of ecological applications, including bat surveys, general wildlife observation and nocturnal monitoring.
The primary difference between the Pixfra Arc A625 and A613 is the objective lens size, which affects detection range, magnification and field of view. The A625 uses a 25mm lens, providing a longer detection range of up to 1300m and higher magnification. The A613 uses a 13mm lens, offering a wider field of view, which is useful for scanning larger areas such as during bat surveys or general wildlife observation.
