Material & Construction
The 1B is made from woodcrete – a specialist blend of wood fibres, clay and cement. This material is rot-proof, weather-resistant and breathable, providing excellent thermal insulation. It keeps nest chambers cooler in summer and more stable in winter compared to standard timber boxes. The robust construction also helps deter predators and ensures a long service life.

Installation

Maintenance
The front panel can be easily removed for inspection and cleaning. Replacement front panels are available and are interchangeable with Schwegler models 1B, 2M and 2F.
