The Schwegler nesting aid contains clay and reeds which offers a range of hole sizes and thermal properties for solitary bees and other insects and ensures the solid structure keeps temperature fluctuations to a minimum and makes the block extremely air-permeable. This nesting aid will be easily adopted on account of the various sized holes and materials that is contains. A wire mesh prevents birds from predating the insects.
