If you conduct bat surveys and require the ability to store terabytes of data and the battery life to record in the field for weeks at a time, the compact and lightweight Song Meter SM4BAT FS is the perfect tool. Powered by four D-cell batteries it will record for 275 - 450 hours, depending on bat activity.
Scheduling functions allow you to set the detector to record continuously or to use complex schedules based on specific times of the day or relative to sunset and sunrise. You can also tell the SM4BAT FS on what day you would like it to begin recording, or whether to begin immediately. Your inputted schedule will then be repeated daily until you stop it or until it is limited by battery life or memory space.
This compact device is proven and reliable, with built-in fail-safe and fault-tolerant tech. Advanced triggering ensures the device only records when bats are present, and an optional noise scrubber automatically deletes false triggers that do not contain bats.

We will always use a reputable courier company and require a signature on delivery. Smaller items are usually shipped using Royal Mail or DPD, and larger items are sent using TNT or Tuffnells. Palletised deliveries are with Pallex.

At Wildcare there are times when items are only available on a backorder basis, either due to high demand or if the item is a special order item. We refer to these as ‘backorder items.
Backorder items are clearly listed on our website as ‘Order To Reserve Stock (Backorder)’. Items that are in stock and ready to be shipped immediately are listed as ‘In Stock’.
