Simple Setup & Operation
The Micro 2 is ready to use straight out of the box. Simply add batteries and a microSD card, configure your recording schedule using the Song Meter Configurator app, and deploy. Pre-set schedules or fully customised recording periods allow you to target peak wildlife activity or maximise battery life.
The app also enables you to check battery status and memory capacity without disturbing the recorder, helping to streamline fieldwork and reduce site visits.

Designed for dependable performance in challenging environments, the Micro 2 features a rugged polycarbonate enclosure tested against extreme temperatures, humidity and water exposure. Its IP67 rating ensures protection from dust and heavy rain, allowing confident deployment year-round.
