The Spypoint Force-24 Trail Camera is a compact, non-cellular camera designed for wildlife monitoring and site observation where mobile connectivity is not required. Images and videos are recorded directly to an SD card, making it suitable for surveys, temporary deployments and locations without network coverage.
The camera captures still images at up to 24 megapixels and records 2K video with sound. Video resolution is higher than standard HD, helping to retain detail in moving footage. Images are recorded in colour during the day and black and white at night.
A fast 0.5 second trigger speed and an infrared detection system help ensure wildlife movement is recorded as it passes through the detection area. The detection angle is 40°, with a detection and flash range of up to 21 metres. Night recording is supported by 28 low-glow infrared LEDs, designed to illuminate animals without visible flash.
The Force-24 offers Photo, Video, Time-Lapse and Time-Lapse+ capture modes. Multi-shot mode allows up to five photos per trigger, while Time-Lapse and Time-Lapse+ can be used to monitor areas at set intervals, with or without motion detection.
An integrated configuration screen allows settings to be adjusted on site, including formatting the SD card and changing capture options. The camera is rated to IP65, providing protection for outdoor use.
The camera operates on 8 AA batteries or can be powered using the optional SPYPOINT LIT-09 rechargeable battery pack. It is also compatible with the SPYPOINT CELL-LINK accessory for users who wish to add photo transmission functionality at a later stage.
