Virkon® Aquatic is a powerful disinfectant cleaner that works against viruses, bacteria, fungi, and moulds. Suitable for disinfecting surfaces associated with aquatic environments including boats, nets, boots, waders, pitfall traps, newt bottles and other similar equipment.
- fast acting – 10 minutes contact time is needed for cleaning.
- colourless – does not contain the purple dye used in Virkon-S.
- fragrance free and non-irritating to skin and eyes.
- wide-actving - kills Viruses, Bacteria, Fungi and Mould.
- 50 x 5 g.
Comes as tablets. One 5gm tablet makes up 500ml of 1% Virkon solution. Once mixed with water, the resulting solution is non-irritating to skin and eyes. This is a significant worker safety advantage over many other disinfectants. However, before mixing into solution, the powder is corrosive and irritating so please follow label directions. Once mixed with water the solution is stable for at least 7 days if kept out of direct sunlight.
