Hedgehog Haus Nest Box

This Hedgehog House (also known as the Hedgehog Haus) is a stylish habitat for wild hedgehogs and should be placed in a quiet part of your garden and ideally covered with dried leaves, twigs and other vegetation. This shelter provides a way for hedgehogs to stay safe, away from dangers in the garden. Features a sturdy steel frame covered with a waterproof felt lining, made from FSC certified timber.

Take care not to disturb the house during the summer - if it is being used as a nursery the female could abandon the nest. If you can't find specialist hedgehog food at your local garden centre you can substitute wet or dried cat food. And don't forget to provide a bowl of fresh water for your hogs.

Note: Hedgehogs are wild creatures; hedgehog houses should be covered over the winter for insulation. We recommend that houses are only checked and maintained annually; early summer is best.
