Siting

Place the dome in a quiet, sheltered area protected from strong wind, heavy rain and direct sunlight. Positioning it close to hedgerows, shrubs or natural cover will help hedgehogs feel secure. Avoid locations where hedgehogs would need to cross open lawns, as these areas often become damp at night.

Nesting Material

The dome is supplied with hay for nesting, but hedgehogs may also use dry leaves, straw, shredded newspaper or wood shavings to build a comfortable nest.
