The Integrated Eco Cavity Bat Box is a built-in bat roost designed for cavity-dwelling bat species and intended for integration into external walls during construction or renovation projects. Constructed from recycled and FSC-certified materials, it provides a long-lasting and maintenance-free roosting space within the building fabric.
The outer shell is manufactured from UV-stabilised recycled LDPE plastic, while the internal roost chamber is formed from FSC Certified orientated strand board (OSB). Suitable for use within brick walls, timber cladding, random stone façades or external insulation systems, the box is designed to replace approximately six standard UK bricks.

SPECIES: This black cavity bat box is designed for the UK’s cavity dwelling bats such as Brown Long-eared, Natterer’s, Daubenton’s, Bechstein’s, Grey Long-Eared, Whiskered, Brandt’s, and Nathusius Pipistrelle.
SITING: When fitting in a brick wall, we recommend securing it with mortar or expanding foam and sealant. Alterntively, if a timber structure, a wooden frame can be built around it and there is 6mm of plastic plus 9mm of OSB on the sides of the box in the central part above the entrance, so we suggest screws can be inserted a maximum of 13mm into the sides of the bat box above the entrance.
MAINTENANCE: No access once fitted, self-cleaning, droppings fall out of entrance slot
Bat boxes should be positioned as high as possible in a sheltered, sunny place. Ideally, several boxes should be put up facing in different directions to provide a range of conditions.
Bats need time to find and explore new homes, and it may be several years before boxes have residents – be patient! Droppings on the landing area and chittering noises from inside on warm afternoons and evenings are signs of occupation.
Mount using 3 concealed keyhole mounting holes at top of box; one hole at base.
