The Pulsar Ventex XT50 is a premium thermal imaging binocular designed for wildlife observation, ecological survey work and long-range outdoor use. Featuring a large format HD thermal sensor, built-in image stabilisation and an integrated laser rangefinder, it combines high image detail with practical field functionality.

Large Format HD Thermal Sensor

The Ventex XT50 is the first Pulsar Wildlife binocular to feature a 1280×1024, 12µm, <20 mK sNETD HD thermal sensor. In simple terms, this high resolution and thermal sensitivity allow the device to detect very small temperature differences and present them with exceptional clarity.

Paired with a 50mm f1.0 objective lens, the XT50 achieves a detection range of up to 2300 metres. Minimal image compression and lossless pixel transfer help preserve detail across the entire image. The binocular retains strong image clarity throughout its 2.0–16.0x magnification range, allowing closer inspection with minimal loss of detail.

Wide 17.5° Field of View

The 17.5° field of view provides a broad observation window. A wide field of view reduces the need for constant scanning and helps improve situational awareness when surveying open landscapes, wetlands or woodland.

Built-in Image Stabilisation

The Ventex XT50 includes integrated image stabilisation. This reduces the effects of hand movement and motion blur, particularly when tracking moving wildlife or using higher magnification. The result is a steadier, clearer image.

Precision Laser Rangefinder

An integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1500 metres with an accuracy of ±1 metre. Distance can be measured in single readings or continuous scanning mode, supporting accurate field assessment without disturbance.

Comfortable Two-Eye Viewing

Twin 1280×960 HD AMOLED displays deliver detailed, high-contrast imagery to both eyes, helping reduce eye strain during extended observation sessions.

Dual Battery System – Up to 8 Hours

The XT50 uses a dual battery system consisting of a built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery and a replaceable APS3 battery. Combined, they provide up to 8 hours of operation (depending on temperature), supporting full-day fieldwork.

Integrated Recording & Connectivity
