Pulsar Ventex XP35 Thermal Imaging Binoculars
The Pulsar Ventex XP35 is the smallest pair of thermal imaging binoculars in the Pulsar Wildlife range. Designed for birdwatchers, ecologists and outdoor professionals who need high performance in a compact format, the XP35 combines wide field of view, strong thermal sensitivity and an integrated laser rangefinder in a lightweight body that fits easily into a pack.
Clear Thermal Detail – Day and Night
The Ventex XP35 features a 640×480, 17µm, <18 mK sNETD European-made Lynred thermal sensor. In simple terms, this means it can detect very small temperature differences, helping you separate wildlife from background vegetation, even in poor weather conditions.
With a detection range of up to 1350 metres, the XP35 allows users to pick up heat signatures at distance, while still retaining enough image detail for identification.
Exceptionally Wide Field of View
The 17.8° field of view is the widest in the Ventex series. A wider field of view means you can scan large areas more comfortably and with fewer movements, which is particularly useful for surveying open landscapes, wetlands or woodland edges.
Three Sensitivity Levels
The Ventex XP35 includes three adjustable sensitivity amplification levels. These allow you to fine-tune the image depending on temperature, humidity and weather conditions. Brightness and contrast can also be adjusted to achieve the clearest possible view.
Built-In Laser Rangefinder
An integrated precision laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1000 metres with an accuracy of ±1 metre. This is useful for recording survey distances, assessing habitat use or estimating how far away wildlife is without guesswork.
Comfortable for Long Observation
The binocular-style design offers a familiar and balanced feel in the hand. Adjustable interpupillary distance (62–74 mm) allows users to tailor the fit for comfortable viewing during extended sessions.
- Ergonomic button layout for easy access to key functions
- Compact and lightweight body
- Designed for fatigue-free observation
AMOLED HD Display
HD AMOLED displays provide crisp contrast and clear image rendering across the full field of view. This ensures fine detail remains visible when observing animals or reviewing habitat features.
Dual Battery System – Up to 9 Hours
The Ventex XP35 uses a dual battery system, combining one built-in rechargeable battery (4 Ah) and one replaceable rechargeable battery (3.2 Ah). Together, they provide up to 9 hours of operation (depending on temperature), supporting extended field sessions.
Proximity Sensor
A built-in proximity sensor automatically switches the display off when the binoculars are lowered from the eyes. This reduces light spill and conserves battery life. When raised again, the display switches back on instantly.
Eight Colour Palettes
- White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot for detection
- Rainbow and Ultramarine for recognition and identification
- Sepia, Red Monochrome and Violet for extended night observation
Built-In Recording & App Connectivity
The Ventex XP35 includes a built-in still image and video recorder with audio. Footage and images are stored to 16GB internal memory, with additional cloud storage available via the Wild Vision app.
- Remote control via smartphone or tablet
- Download and share recorded media
- Firmware updates through the Wild Vision app
The Pulsar Ventex XP35 delivers wide-area scanning, strong thermal sensitivity and practical distance measurement in a compact binocular format, making it a capable tool for wildlife observation and ecological fieldwork.
