Jackdaws are another endangered species. They live in colonies, and therefore if you would like to support this species, several Nest Boxes should be installed in the same area or on a building.
Why are nest boxes important?
Natural nest sites are being lost having devastating consequences for bird species. Birds are an essential component of functioning ecosystems and have a direct impact on human populations and millions of other species. It is therefore important to provide our feathered friends with a home.

SITING: several Nest Boxes should be installed in the same area or on a building. Approx. 1 to 2 m distance between nest boxes is advisable.
Residential buildings, external walls, churches, silos, industrial buildings, etc. Height above ground: min. 6 – 8 m.
MAINTENANCE: The front panel, containing the entrance hole, can be removed for cleaning and inspection.
