The BATLOGGER S2 is a compact, all-in-one static bat detector and ultrasonic recorder designed for passive bat monitoring. It records in real-time 16-bit full spectrum and is operated using the BATLOGGER Control App on a compatible Android® or iOS® device.
The S2 has an integrated microphone, internal battery and internal microSD card, creating a simple, self-contained unit for field deployments. With no buttons or display on the device, setup and configuration are completed through the app via Bluetooth® Low Energy.
The built-in microphone is replaceable, allowing it to be changed if sensitivity reduces over time due to wear, dirt, dust or water exposure. Recordings can be downloaded via USB-C, which is also used for charging the internal battery.

BATLOGGER Control App
The BATLOGGER S2 is configured using the BATLOGGER Control App. The app allows users to set up one or more devices, adjust recording settings, configure schedules and manage device information.
BATLOGGER Connect can also be used within the Control App to register devices, add team members and share device information. The S2 does not have its own internet connection, so BATLOGGER Connect only shows the latest status available from the Control App.
