Optimised for One-Handed Observation

The Pulsar Wildlife Orni XG35 is designed for comfortable single-handed use. A focus wheel positioned directly in front of the eyepiece allows easy one-handed adjustment, while a four-button layout provides access to key digital functions without complicated controls. The symmetrical body design and ambidextrous wrist strap support both left- and right-handed operation, and haptic feedback confirms button presses.

High-Resolution Thermal Performance

The Orni XG35 features a 640 × 480, 12µm thermal sensor with <20 mK sNETD and <40 mK NETD. In practical terms, this high sensitivity allows the device to detect very small temperature differences, helping to reveal animals and other heat sources clearly in varying weather conditions.

Combined with a 35mm f1.0 objective lens, the Orni XG35 offers a detection range of up to 1800 metres.

  • Sensor: 640 × 480, 12µm
  • sNETD: <20 mK
  • Objective lens: 35mm f1.0
  • Frame rate: 50 Hz
  • Detection range: up to 1800 m

Wide Field of View & Magnification

The Orni XG35 offers a 12.5° field of view (21.9 m at 100 m), allowing efficient scanning of open landscapes. A magnification range of 2.5–20× with up to 8× digital zoom enables both wide-area searching and closer inspection when needed.

  • Field of view: 12.5° (21.9 m @ 100 m)
  • Magnification: 2.5–20×
  • Eye relief: 14 mm
  • Display: 1024 × 768 AMOLED HD

Digital Image Stabilisation

Digital image stabilisation helps reduce visible shake when observing handheld, particularly at higher magnifications or when viewing from uneven ground.

Built-in Laser Rangefinder

The Orni XG35 includes an integrated laser rangefinder beneath the objective lens. It measures distances up to 1500 metres with an accuracy of ±1 metre.

  • Maximum measuring distance: 1500 m
  • Accuracy: ±1 m
  • Laser class: Class 1 (IEC 60825-1:2014)
  • Wavelength: 905 nm

Dual Battery System

The Orni XG35 uses a dual battery system combining an internal rechargeable battery with a removable APS5 Li-ion battery pack (4900 mAh). This provides up to 12 hours of operation (depending on temperature and usage, tested at 22°C). Both batteries display charge levels on-screen and can be charged via USB Type-C Power Delivery.

  • Battery type: APS5 Li-ion
  • Capacity: 4900 mAh
  • Battery life: up to 12 hours
  • External power supply: 5V / 9V (USB-C Power Delivery)

Recording & Connectivity

The device includes built-in video recording with audio and still image capture. Files are stored on 64GB of internal memory in MP4 (video) and JPG (image) formats.

Wi-Fi connectivity (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ac, 2.4/5 GHz) enables pairing with the Pulsar Wild Vision app, allowing remote control, wireless file transfer and firmware updates.

  • Built-in memory: 64 GB
  • Video/photo resolution: 1024 × 768
  • Formats: .mp4 / .jpg
  • Wireless: Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz)
  • App support: Wild Vision

Durability & Environmental Protection

  • Protection rating: IP67
  • Operating temperature: -25 to +40°C
  • Body material: Magnesium alloy
  • Dimensions: 179 × 52 × 77 mm
  • Weight: 500 g

The Pulsar Wildlife Orni XG35 combines high-resolution thermal imaging, integrated laser rangefinding and extended battery performance in a compact, ergonomically designed format suitable for wildlife observation and professional field use.
