Time Expansion

Hand-held active Time Expansion detectors detect & record all frequencies, capturing quiet species & entire structures of calls. They preserve details of social calls & harmonics, giving you more data for identifications.

They record snippets of sound that can be replayed at a slower audible rate. It cannot do this whilst listening for bats, so we advise you choose a device with added Heterodyne or Frequency Division capability so that you can listen live & decide which snippets you want to capture.
