Great Crested Newt eDNA Refill Kit

This Great Crested Newt eDNA Refill Kit is designed to be used alongside the full sampling kit and complies with the DEFRA WC1067 protocol. It provides replacement tubes for additional sampling without the need to purchase a complete kit.
What is included?
- 6x 50ml centrifuge tubes (each containing 35ml DNA preservative solution)
How it works
1. Use this refill kit in conjunction with the Great Crested Newt eDNA Collection Kit.
2. Collect your samples following DEFRA WC1067 guidance. For results to be accepted by Natural England, sampling must take place between 15th April and 30th June. Sampling must be carried out by a licensed Great Crested Newt surveyor.
3. Submit your samples for testing by purchasing the eDNA Analysis Service and returning your samples as instructed.
Additional Information
- Designed as a refill for existing kits – does not include sampling equipment
- Kits have a shelf life of approximately 3 months to cover the survey season
- Suitable for additional ponds or repeat sampling

Highlands and Islands: delivery starts from £25.
Northern Ireland: delivery starts from £20, rising to £90 for orders up to 60kg.
