The Vincent Pro Bat Box is a multi-chamber bat box based on a design developed by the Vincent Wildlife Trust. It provides a range of roosting conditions within a single unit, with three vertical chambers of varying sizes to support different bat species and temperature preferences.
The design incorporates a dark front and roof to absorb heat, along with a rough landing surface and internal access ladder to aid bat movement.

Species Suitability
This bat box has been recorded as being used by at least seven species, including barbastelle, Leisler’s, common pipistrelle, soprano pipistrelle, brown long-eared, Natterer’s and whiskered bats, and possibly Brandt’s bat.
Siting & Installation
Install at a minimum height of approximately 2 metres above ground level. Choose a sheltered location with some sun exposure, avoiding direct artificial light and areas where rain may enter the box. Ensure a clear flight path to the entrance.
Maintenance
The open base design allows droppings to fall out naturally, reducing the need for cleaning.
