Building-Integrated Swift Boxes

Building-integrated swift nest boxes, also known as swift bricks or built-in swift boxes, create permanent nesting spaces within an external wall. Designed for new builds and major renovations, they sit flush with the building for a discreet finish. Built-in swift boxes sit securely within the wall, need no external brackets and provide a permanent nesting space.

Install swift boxes at least 5 metres above ground, with a clear flight path and no trees or other obstacles directly in front. Choose a north, east or sheltered aspect to reduce the risk of overheating. As swifts nest in colonies, install several boxes together where possible.
